Why I Test for Mineral Imbalances Using HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis)

Why I Test for mineral imbalances using Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

Here’s why I decided to use this test: Two years ago, I was under the care of a naturopathic doctor who ran an HTMA Test. When the test results were available the practitioner was unable to read the test accurately. I then researched and discovered and discovered Lisa Pitel Killah with the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, a specialist in HTMA testing. I’ve learned that minerals play a crucial role in numerous bodily functions, and imbalances or deficiencies can lead to a wide range of health issues. Interpreting these tests accurately is most imperative.

Many of my acupuncture patients have been struggling with chronic health conditions, including, metabolic disorders, arthritis, spinal issues, bulging discs, neurological disorders, hormonal issues, and sequelae to surgery. Due to the chronic nature of these conditions, it can take 20-30 acupuncture treatments to achieve lasting results. When you add toxic overload due to chronic and acute stress, medications, heavy metal exposure, and poor liver and kidney function the body becomes to weak respond to acupuncture. I recommend an HTMA test and a subsequent mineral balancing protocol for these patients.

HTMA can detect underlying calcification and inflammation, magnesium deficiency, heavy metal exposure, sluggish liver function, thyroid and adrenal gland weakness, oxidation rate, blood sugar imbalances, stress disorders, and more. HTMA can detect problems that may not show up for years on a blood or urine test. HTMA is affordable and gives information on the status of your minerals over a four months. Often patients are told their health is good based on blood tests, but they have health problems. Much to their relief, they are often pleased to see imbalances finally appear on a HTMA test.

SPECIAL LIMITED OFFER
